Getting Internal Error/Codec not supported:[edit]

You may try by reset the Hard Disk on your player. Please follow the procedure mentioned below to reset the Hard Disk on your player:

- First transfer all recordings and files that you want to save from the player to your PC, via the FTP server.

- Then you need to do a reset of the hard disk, by pressing Eject - Back - 6 - 7 - 8 - eject. (On the last eject, the DVD tray should wait for about 15-25 sec before it close. If it closes at once, then please try again).

- When you press SETUP, "Hard disk not setup" should be written in the top right corner of the screen.

- Now you need to reformat the hard disk in the setup menu.

- Now your player should be able to record and view recordings again.

If you don't want to lose your TV channels, do following:

- First transfer all recordings and files that you want to save from the player to your PC, via the FTP server.

- Install the newest firmware and say NO to format of hard disk.

- Now you reset of the hard disk, by pressing Eject - Back - 6 - 7 - 8 - eject. (On the last eject, the DVD tray should wait for about 15-25 sec before it close. If it closes at once, then please try again).

- When you press SETUP, "Hard disk not setup" should be written in the top right corner of the screen.

- Now you need to reformat the hard disk in the setup menu.

- Now your player should be able to record and view recordings again.
